# Users and groups

> Invite users with the right role and group them to control who sees reports you share in Build.

## Invite users

1. In Enhanza, go to `Workspace` > `Users` and click `Invite Users`.
2. Enter the email address and pick a [role](#roles). New invites default to `Viewer`.
3. Optional: add a welcome message. To invite more people at once, click `Invite another user`.
4. Click `Send Invites`.

Invites stay under `Pending user invites` until they're accepted.

## Roles

| Role | Access |
| - | - |
| Owner | Full ownership of the workspace. Manages data sources, members, settings and billing. |
| Manager | Full access to the data. Manages data sources, members and settings. |
| Viewer | Opens Enhanza's built-in reports. Can't connect to the data directly from a third-party BI tool. |

To give a BI tool access to the data, use [data access](/workspace/data-access).

## Create a group

Groups organize workspace users for access management. When you [share a report in Build](/build/overview#share-a-report), you can limit it to one or more groups.

1. Go to `Workspace` > `Users`. Under `Groups`, click `New Group`.
2. Fill in the fields:
   * *Group Name*: a name, such as "Management"
   * *Description*: optional
3. Under `Group Members`, select the users to add.
4. Click `Create`.

To change who's in a group, click `Manage Members` on its row. To rename or delete it, open its `⋮` menu and click `Edit Group` or `Delete group`.
